REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSIT VISA FOR ETHIOPIA
- Covering letter from the applicant.
- One Visa form to be filled duly attached with one photograph.
- This visa is issued for taking connecting flight for onward journey.
- Confirmed Air ticket showing onward flight out of Ethiopia.
- Valid visa of the onward country
- Yellow fever health certificate.
- Fees for the Transit visa is Single Entry Rs. 1,040/- for Indian nationals. Speed Post charges – Rs. 60/-
- For other nationalities the fee is USD 20 (except U.S. citizen : $ 70)
- Validity of visa : 30 days from the date of issue. Stay period 7 days
REQUIREMENTS FOR BUSINESS VISA FOR ETHIOPIA
- Letter from the Indian Firm on whose behalf the traveller is going to Ethiopia.
- Invitation letter from Ethiopian counterpart to be faxed directly to the Embassy.
- In case a traveller is going for the first time – Recommendation letter from any Indian Chamber of Commerce/Export Promotion Council.
- One copy of Visa form to be filled duly attached with one photograph.
- For Indian Nationals: Single Entry Visa fee is Rs. 1,040/- (Speed Post Rs. 60/- extra if applicable) payable by Bank draft favouring Ethiopian Embassy, New Delhi.
- For others: Single Entry Visa fee is US$ 20 (except US citizen).
- Return Air ticket in original.
- Proof of sufficient Foreign Exchange.
- Yellow fever health certificate.
- Duration of Visa - 30 days from the date of issue.
REQUIREMENTS FOR TOURIST VISA FOR ETHIOPIA
- Covering letter from the applicant.
- One Visa form duly filled with one photograph.
- For Indian Nationals: Visa fee is Rs. 1,040/-, (Speed Post Rs. 50/- extra if applicable).
- For others : Visa fee is US $ 20 (except U.S. citizen : $ 70).
- Return Air Ticket.
- Proof of sufficient Foreign Exchange.
- Yellow fever health certificate.
- If visiting Friends or Relatives then invitation letter or sponsorship.
- Duration of stay - 30 days from the date of issue.
IMPORTANT: INDIAN PASSPORT HOLDER CAN ALSO OBTAIN TOURIST VISA FOR 30 DAYS ON ARRIVAL AT ETHIOPIAN AIRPORT.
